My One-Month Carnivore Journey's Affect on Type 2 Diabetes

Henry E Rabun, Jr. DMD, founder of Rabun Ranch Beef, is excited to report his experience when embarking on a one-month Carnivore diet to manage type 2 diabetes. I have long been committed to the belief that grass-fed beef is good for human health and to our grass-fed beef. I explored various cuts and flavors, finding satisfaction in each meal. In my first week, my energy levels surged, and I noticed a significant decrease in cravings for sugary snacks. Incredibly Insomnia, a low-level headache, and a depressive mood also disappeared.

By the end of the month, my blood sugar levels stabilized remarkably, much to my delight. I was able to stop taking all my diabetic medications and still maintain my blood glucose levels under 115 all month! Miraculously, this is less than it had been while taking three diabetic medicines and still eating carbohydrates. This journey not only improved my health but also deepened my appreciation for the quality of our beef. I enjoyed sharing our experiences with family and friends, emphasizing the importance of community and connection through food. This transformative experience reinforced my commitment to providing sustainable, high-quality meat that nourishes both body and soul.
